Library Assessment Standing Committee
The purpose of the purpose of the Library Assessment Standing Committee (LASC) is to assist and advise the FLVC MCLS regarding methods and tools for library assessment to be used in Florida’s public colleges and universities. Contribute to the ALA CORE Assessment Repository which is a centralized and shared repository of library assessment best practices for research and other accreditation activities. Identify and promote examples of effective library assessment methods. Provide recommendations to the MCLS for resources and activities to support assessment in all FLVC libraries. And to provide regular reports to the MCLS.
The committee meets every second Tuesday of the month from 1-2pm ET.
