Sage Skills for FLVC: What’s New + Success in Practice: E-Resources Webinar
You’re invited to join Sage Publishing on Thursday, August 28th at 11:00am ET / 10:00am CT for a custom instructional session on Sage Skills, presented in collaboration with FLVC. Please use this link to register in advance.
Sage Skills offers students a flexible, self-guided journey to practice and master the skills needed for academic, personal, and professional success. Together, Sage Skills: Student Success and Sage Business Skills provide engaging learning opportunities through themed modules that incorporate self-assessments, interactive scenarios, downloadable exercises, original videos, embedded datasets, and more.
This session will provide an overview of both collections, a look at brand new content now available to all FLVC member institutions, and will present a case study demonstrating how St. Petersburg College has successfully incorporated Sage Skills into library instruction and tutoring programs.
As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:
- Search, browse, and explore the modules, skills, and topics within the collections
- Link and embed content into learning management systems, websites, and LibGuides
- Demonstrate how built-in platform features and multimedia components support self-directed learning
- Apply the self-assessment feature to determine areas for skill development
- Analyze practical applications of Sage Skills through a real-world case study
Please contact Emily Smith at emily.smith@sagepub.com if you have any questions prior to the session.
We look forward to seeing you there!
